It's not all that bad being up and about early on your day off though - I am always much more motivated to get things done, and I work better in the mornings anyway.
It seems that the Gods were smiling down on me this morning and rewarded me for my keenness to start my day by getting the Postie to deliver a very special parcel that I've been waiting for like an over-excited puppy....
Do you remember my post about the owly bookshop in Melbourne, Australia (here)? And I told you about a lovely lady called Claire who blogs over at Sweet Birdy Love, who told me about the owly bookshop? Well I entered her very first Giveaway on her blog (and frankly how could I resist when one of the prizes was a handmade felt owl needle case?) and I won! I know! I may or may not have let out a little squeal of joy and danced a little dance in my room. Those of you who know me, will know that I. Don't. Dance. Except when plied with enough alcohol to loosen my limbs and dispel my inhibitions. So that little secret dance right there was a rare treat for any fly on the wall that might have been watching.
Anyway, I digress.
